1974 Lola T332 HU #42/2 - Cars of the MSC Tasman Revival F5000 Series
Internationally the Lola T330 dominated F5000 in 1973 and was the car to beat. So in 1974 Lola refined this model and brought out the T332. Essentially the same car other than a different rear alignment and uprights. It won the UK and US series in 1974, the Tasman and US series in 1975 and the US series in 1976.
Roger Williams is the current owner of chassis HU #42/2. This car was originally assembled by Jerry Eisert from Lola components obtained from Lola distributor Carl Haas, to replace the T332 crashed by B J Swanson in a testing accident.
This car was run by the Swanson/Eisert equipe team until it crashed again at the SCCA F5000 round at Mid Ohio in August 1975.
Repaired and run again by Ed Obrien for Danny Eisert under the Bell Electric/Interscope banner, for the last three rounds of the 1975 F5000 series, and the season ending SCCA runoffs at Road Alanta. From there the car was disassembled and stored.
Roger Wiliams purchased it off Shayne Windelburn in 2007 who had restored the car over two years after he had purchased it from Ed Obrien in 2005.
